Run xcode-select -install in your terminal and then click 'Install'. Currently supports Ubuntu, Linux Mint and other Debian based distributions. Open the command prompt and type ruby -v. ![]() Step 1: Check Ruby Version First, check if you already have Ruby installed. Then install newest stable versions of Ruby and Rails. Install Rails is a script to set up a Linux or Mac OS X system for Rails development. Follow the steps given below for installing Ruby on Rails. ![]() (Make sure you have node and yarn.) Run the installer. So the problem does seem to be related to builder but isn't triggered when I install builder directly. I installed RoR on my Mac using sudo gem install rails. The idea is to remove ruby and rails from your machine.
